zipForm error: Invalid Credentials

Issue

When you try to send a document for signing, you receive the error message "Invalid credentials."

Cause

You changed your DocuSign email or password but did not also update your zipForm credentials to reflect this change.

Solution


Classic zipForm Plus
  1. Log into zipForm Plus and click the arrow under your name in the upper-right corner.

  2. Click Profile.

  3. Click Settings.

  4. Under E-Signatures Options, click Link Existing DocuSign Account,  and in the window that pops up, enter your DocuSign log in credentials, and click continue. User-added image

If your DocuSign credentials are incorrect, you will the receive the same error message "Invalid Credentials" with a red "X" icon. Please try logging into DocuSign at https://www.docusign.net. If necessary, you can Reset Your Password.

If your DocuSign credentials are validated correctly, you will see a message stating "User Preferences Updated" with a green check mark icon.

New zipForm Plus
1. Log into New zipForm Plus and click the arrow under "me" in the upper-right corner, and then select View Profile.

3.Under E-Signatures Options, click Link Existing DocuSign Account,  and in the window that pops up, enter your DocuSign log in credentials, and click continue.

If your DocuSign credentials are incorrect, you will the receive the error message "Invalid Email and/or password" in red Please try logging into DocuSign at https://www.docusign.net. If necessary, you can Reset Your Password.

If your DocuSign credentials are validated correctly, you will see a message stating "Your account was linked successfully "  in a yellow box at the top of the screen.
