Why am I unable to complete offline signing with the DocuSign Mobile App for iOS (iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch)

With offline access, you can prepare, sign, and send documents when a network connection is unavailable. Sign or prepare documents to send while offline and they'll be sent as soon as a network connection is available.

During an offline signing session, there are a few settings that may cause the session to fail. Because these document settings require network connectivity to complete, offline signing is not compatible and these documents must be signed while connected to a network. 

The following document settings require network connectivity to initiate or complete the signing session:
  • Signer Authentication
  • Fields using Regex
  • Calculated Fields
  • Shared Tabs
  • Payments
  • Conditional Fields
  • Document Markup
