Why am I getting the 'Failure' status after sending an envelope?
IssueA envelope you sent shows a status of Failure in the Manage section and the signer has not received the signing notification.
This may be due to an incorrect recipient email address or an error from an email provider.
SolutionFirst, ensure that the email address you're sending to was entered correctly and is valid. An invalid email address will always bounce and cause this error.
You can modify an invalid email address using the Correct feature. For more information on this feature, please review this guide.
If the email address is valid, in the Manage section locate the bounced envelope, click the down arrow next to Correct, and click Resend to resend the signing notification. If you're viewing the envelope's detail page resend the envelope notification using the Resend feature.

Note: Delivery failures to "Receives a Copy" (cc) recipients are not reported on the envelope status and no sender notifications of delivery failure are issued. Use "Needs to View" as the recipient action if you need to confirm delivery to a non-signer.
