Users Migrated from Standalone Gen to DocuSign App Launcher Gen Cannot Give App Permission

The legacy DocuSign Gen app (the Salesforce installed package name is “DocuSign Gen” version 1.18 and earlier) used a silent activation method to activate DocuSign users. The DocuSign Apps Launcher version of Gen requires all users grant DocuSign access to the newer version of Gen.

DocuSign users that were silently activated will not have passwords to grant access between the DocuSign Apps Launcher version of DocuSign Gen and DocuSign.

Users who are silently activated will also not have a security question and answer associated with their username. Without a security question and answer these users are not able to use the reset password link. These users will need to request a password reset from their DocuSign Administrator or from DocuSign Customer Support.

Password Reset requests sent from a DocuSign Administrator or DocuSign Customer Support will expire after 48 hours.

Grant Access Request:

After Selecting Accept the user will be taken to a login screen:

If the user selects forgot password, they will be sent a verification code, but they will not be able to move further then that without an active security question and will require a password reset from their DocuSign Admin or from DocuSign Customer Support.
