Retrieve reports pulls no information for Custom Fields

Issue

Fields blank in the Retrieve Index file for custom tags.

Solution

  • Check that the Field label name matches the Field label names in your envelopes
    • Document – Custom Fields are set up in the DocuSign web application in the account Preferences. These entries are case sensitive and must match exactly the Label entry. 
  • Ensure Document Custom Fields have been selected in the Output Columns 
  • Confirm that the fields have been populated by recipients and were not left blank
    • Optionally make these Required fields before sending
