How to Troubleshoot Website latency


DocuSign website is performing slower than expected when navigating pages, uploading documents, searching envelopes and sending envelopes.  To diagnose and resolve the issue follow each step below and test after each step.


  1. Check the DocuSign Status on our Trust Site. If there is a known issue you will not need to continue with troubleshooting. Check back to see when the issue is resolved.
  2. Check with your Internet Service Provider (ISP) to see if there are any known network issues. You could try running an internet speed test:
  3. Troubleshoot your browser:
    1. Clear Cookies and Cache for All Browsers
    2. Internet Explorer specific troubleshooting
    3. Make sure your browser is up to date
  4. Test in a different browser (e.g. if you are using Internet Explorer test in Google Chrome)
  5. Test on a different network (e.g. if you are on a secured network test on an open network)
  6. Test on a different device (e.g. different computer or mobile device)
  7. Verify with your IT department that all DocuSign IP addresses are allowed on your network
