How do I reset my password?


Choose the situation that best applies to you

  1. I forgot my password but I still remember my security question and answer. See the instructions to reset your password.
  2. I forgot both my password AND my security question. If you cannot remember the answer to your security question, you will be unable to reset your password on your own.
  • Please contact your DocuSign Administrator requesting a password reset.
  • If the DocuSign Administrator is not available, contact DocuSign Support through our Contact Support Webform for assistance.
  1. I know my password but I want to change it. To change your log-in credentials, see Change Your Email Address and Change Your Password.
  2. I have multiple accounts and don't remember which log-in and password goes with which account.
  • Please contact your DocuSign Administrator requesting a password reset.
  • If the DocuSign Administrator is not available, contact DocuSign Support through our Contact Support Webform for assistance.

To reset your password

  1. Visit https://account.docusign.com
  2. Enter your email address and click CONTINUE.

Note:

  • If your password is automatically filled in, try deleting the stored password and re-entering it to log in. If this does not resolve the issue, continue to step 3.
  • If your caps lock key is enabled on your keyboard, disable it and try re-entering it to log in. If this does not resolve the issue, continue to step 3.
  1. Click Forgot password.

  1. Enter your email address, and click SEND.

  1. Click BACK TO LOGIN. You are sent back to the DocuSign Login page.

Back to login

  1. Go to your email account. Open the DocuSign Create a New Password email. Review your security question. Click RESET PASSWORD.

You are taken back to the DocuSign website.

  1. Enter the answer to your security question and click Next.

Note: The security question is case sensitive.

The RESET YOUR PASSWORD dialog box opens.

  1. Review your password requirements (yours might differ from those in the image above). Enter your new password and retype it. Select a security question, and type your answer.

The DocuSign home page for your account opens.
