How do I reset my password?

Choose the situation that best applies to you

  1. I forgot my password. See the instructions to reset your password.
  2. I know my password but I want to change it. To change your log-in credentials, see Change Your Email Address and Change Your Password.
  3. I have several accounts and cannot remember which credentials and password are attached to each of them. 
  • Please let your DocuSign admin know so they can send you a password reset link.
  • If your DocuSign admin is unavailable, contact DocuSign Support using this webform I can't reset my password or don't have an account. You can also find this webform on the Get Support page in the More Support Options section.

To reset your password

  1. Visit
  2. Enter your email address and click CONTINUE.


  • If your password is automatically filled in, try deleting the stored password and re-entering it to log in. If this does not resolve the issue, continue to step 3.
  • If your caps lock key is enabled on your keyboard, disable it and try re-entering it to log in. If this does not resolve the issue, continue to step 3.
  1. Click Forgot password.

  1. An email has been sent. When it arrives, please open it and follow the directions to recover your password.
  2. Check your email inbox for a verification code. The email will look something like this:

I did not receive an verification code email.

  1. Enter the DocuSign verification code from your email into the verification code field in your browser. 
  1. Click CONFIRM.
  2. If you have several users associated with this email address, you'll be prompted to select the user for whom you want to reset your password.
  1. Enter the answer to your account security question, then click CONTINUE.
Note: the answer to your security question is case sensitive.
  1. You are now ready to update/change your DocuSign password.
  • Review your password requirements (which might differ from those in the below image).
  • Enter your new password, then retype it in the next field.
  • Select a security question, and type your answer. Note: The security question is case sensitive.
  1. Click SAVE.
  2. Your password has been successfully updated. Click DONE.

You can now log into DocuSign using your new credentials.

Note: If you still have troubles accessing the right account, you may need to perform another password reset and during step 8 select a different user.
