How do I link to my DocuSign account?

The first time you use the Chrome Extension, you'll be prompted to sign in to your DocuSign account or create a new account. If you have an existing account, use your DocuSign email and password to sign in. If you're new to DocuSign, you can create a free account to start signing right away.

How do I get the DocuSign Chrome Extension?

Installation is easy! Visit www.docusign.com/google and select Get Free App. Click the link under the DocuSign Chrome Extension heading, select Add to Chrome, and then Add to confirm.

How do I log into or out of my DocuSign account with the Chrome Extension?

To log into DocuSign, click the DocuSign icon located to the right of the address bar. Enter your DocuSign account information, or, if your DocuSign and Google accounts are linked, you can log in with Google.

Do I have to have to use the same email for DocuSign and Gmail?

No, you can link any account. When you're prompted to sign in to your DocuSign account, you can use your existing DocuSign credentials. From then on, your accounts will be linked and you'll be able to sign and send with Gmail and access any completed documents in DocuSign.

Can I use the Chrome Extension in other browsers?

No, the Chrome Extension will only work when you're in the Chrome browser. You cannot access the DocuSign Chrome Extension in Internet Explorer, Firefox, or Safari.

What happens when I "Remind" my signers from the Desktop Panel?

Sending a reminder resends the email notification to all signers who have yet to finish signing a document. You can send a reminder for any of your sent documents that have not yet completed. All in process recipients receive an email asking them to sign the document.

Why does the DocuSign icon appear in my browser window when I view documents online?

The DocuSign Chrome extension offers an easy way to sign and send documents you view online, including PDF and Word files. No need to download, print, or scan. Just click the DocuSign icon, select who will sign, and complete the document.
