Update DocuSign trusted IP address ranges - DocuSign eSignature for Salesforce

Overview

DocuSign eSignature for Salesforce customers periodically need to update the DocuSign trusted IP address ranges in their account to ensure the highest levels of availability and security. 

DocuSign is committed to maintaining the highest standards in security and service availability. As we continue to improve our industry-leading service, we are making changes to the way DocuSign eSignature for Salesforce interacts with our multiple data centers. This update will keep your DocuSign service available even during times where we need to perform maintenance on a given set of servers.

Solution

 To ensure that you can take advantage of these improvements and that your DocuSign eSignature for Salesforce service continues uninterrupted, follow the instructions below to make the necessary changes or view the video How to Add Trusted IP Ranges.

To add trusted IP ranges to your Salesforce account:

Note: This update applies to all of our production and demo environments.

  1. Log in to Salesforce as a Salesforce Administrator.
  2. Click Setup.
  3. On the left hand side of the screen, click Security > Network Access.

    Important! You should see a screen that looks like the screenshot below. If the Network Access option is not listed under Security Controls, please contact Salesforce support at (800) 667-6389 for assistance. See https://help.salesforce.com/HTViewSolution?id=0001816

  4. Verify that you have the all of the IP address Ranges listed on our Trust Site .
  5. If any are missing, click New.
  6. Add the Range (Start IP address to End IP address):
    i.e. 162.248.184.1 through 162.248.187.255
  7. Click Save.
  8. Repeat the above steps to make sure that you have the all IP address ranges specified.
