The DocuSign Rooms API allows you to integrate DocuSign Rooms into your app, workflows and more.


How do I get started with the Rooms API / How do I get access to the Rooms Demo environment?

Because Rooms integrates eSignature functionality, you must have an existing developer eSignature account before you can create a Rooms developer account.

  • Create a eSignature developer account
  • Contact DocuSign to request a Rooms account via support-re@docusign.com and provide all required information

Once my Rooms Demo account has been created, how do I access it?

If this is the first time you are accessing your Rooms demo account go to https://appdemo.account.com/home and login to your eSignature developer account. Then follow the step 4 in this guide


How do I Go Live with my Rooms Integration Key?

Rooms Go-Live process is similar to eSignature Go-Live. Before you can initiate the Go-Live process there are few conditions you need to have in place. Once they are in place you need to email go-live@docusign.com. The full details with steps you need to follow are in our Rooms API Go-Live guide


Does the Rooms API have an hourly limit?

Rooms API limits are set per Integrator Key (1000 per hour by default) and are separate from eSign limits.
