Common Internet Explorer Troubleshooting Steps

The problem you are experiencing may be related to settings and permissions in Internet Explorer. Adjusting these settings and permissions may resolve the issue.

Note: If you are unable to make changes to Internet Explorer options (i.e. options are grayed out), you will need to engage your IT department for assistance.

Add DocuSign as a trusted site:
  1. Open Internet Explorer and click the Tools icon in the upper-right corner.
  2. Click Internet Options.
  3. Click the Security tab.
  4. Click Trusted Sites, then click Sites.
  5. Add the following sites:
    http://*.docusign.com
    https://*.docusign.com
    http://*.docusign.net
    https://*.docusign.net
  6. When finished, click Close, then click OK.

Enable ActiveX controls

  1. Open Internet Explorer and click the Tools icon in the upper-right corner.
  2. Click Internet Options.
  3. Click the Security tab.
  4. Click Custom level.
  5. Under the ActiveX Controls and Plug-ins heading, click to enable Initialize and script ActiveX Controls not marked as safe for scripting
    Note: If prompted, click Yes.
  6. Click OK, then click Apply.
Clear Cache and Cookies 
  1. Open Internet Explorer and click the Tools icon in the upper-right corner.
  2. Click Internet Options.
  3. From the General tab, click Delete.
  4. Check Temporary Internet Files and Cookies ONLY, then clickDelete.
  5. Click OK.
  6. Close and re-open Internet Explorer and test to see if the issue is resolved.
