Rooms for Real Estate - Configuring Notifications

DocuSign Rooms for Real Estate allows you to turn on email and mobile Notifications to monitor activity as it happens. You can decide which Notifications you want to see, and where to receive those Notifications.

Note: The mobile application is available for iOS and Android devices only. Notifications will display on both smartphones and tablets, but Notification settings can only be edited from a computer or tablet.

Notifications can be turned on for certain events:

  • When someone views a document you have shared
  • When you receive a document in your Room Inbox via fax or email
  • When someone shares or removes your access from a document in a Room
  • When someone adds you to or removes you from a Room
  • When there is activity related to the electronic signature of a document
  • When a Room has been submitted for approval or has been approved
  • When a Task List has been submitted for review or has been approved
  • When activity takes place related to Tasks/Reminders

You also have the option of turning on the Daily Digest. The Daily Digest is an email that summarizes your account activity for the previous 24 hours. If this is turned on and no activity has taken place with your account in the previous 24 hours, you will not receive a Daily Digest email.

When you create a DocuSign Rooms for Real Estate account, Daily Digest and notification for activity related to the electronic signature of a document are enabled by default.

Setting up Notifications using your web browser

You can enable or disable notifications from your web browser.

  1. From the home screen, click Settings.
  2. On the My Account tab, click Notifications.
  3. Click the sliders to enable or disable the preferred notifications.

    Note: The blue circle check-mark indicates the Notification is enabled. 
     
  4. When finished, click Save Changes button.
  5. The Notification settings are now changed.
Note: To enable the ability to set Notifications for your mobile device, you must install the Rooms for Real Estate Application on your mobile device and log in to your account. This will register your device to your account. If you have not done this, the phone and tablet columns will be disabled.

Setting up Notifications using the mobile application on your tablet device

You can enable or disable Notifications on your iPad or Android tablet. This feature is not currently supported on smartphones.

  1. From the home screen, tap the Menu icon, then tap Settings.
  2. Tap Notifications, then tap the sliders to enable or disable the preferred notifications.
    Note: A green slider indicates the notification is enabled, red indicates it is disabled.
  3. The Notification settings are now changed.
